"Surge" in Southeastern Arizona
Flood of Drugs/People Follows End of Freeze
Cochise County, Arizona. January 17th, 2007. Drug "mules" head back into Mexico after being frightened off by American Border Patrol Wednesday evening. ABP spotted numerous groups crossing the border last evening. Surge in traffic is attributed to warmer temperatures that had dropped into the mid teens in recent days. ABP sent live streaming video of this intrusion out over the Internet.
