From left to right, Mike Christie of American Border Patrol, and Caroline Mier and Marjorie Paillon of BFMTV, the French News Network. Glenn Spencer of ABP piloted the plane as the journalists got an aerial tour of the border near Douglas, Arizona as part of an investigative report on issues in the U.S. Presidential campaign. Spencer told the TV reporters that he thought John McCain was crazy for supporting illegal alien amnesty when the United States faced serious unemployment problems.
The report is expected to air tomorrow in France. American Border Patrol has gotten excellent coverage in Europe and Asia but no reporting by mainstream U.S. media. "The U.S. power structure seems determined to keep the issue of illegal immigration and the border out of this campaign," Spencer said.
