Border Patrol Chopper busy searching the San Pedro
My home office overlooks the San Pedro River just north of the border. I can hear when a Border Patrol helicopter flies overhead. When that happens, I often grab my camera to see what is going on. Most of the time the chopper flies right over without stopping at any particular place. Whey they do stop, it is usually to look for something that has been reported by an agent. --This morning the chopper flew over and stopped and began circling over the San Pedro River. It did this for about five minutes, flying up and down the river. My bet the crew was trying to spot people that had been reported by an agent or others. I don't know if they found anything, but I am pretty sure whoever it was didn't have a passport. -- See photo.
