Man Aims to Secure US/Mexico Border with Drone

But Spencer never loses sight of his drone on a monitor. Underneath a mesh shade, he maneuvers a joystick like a young boy with his new toy.

Southern Arizona group plans to submit proposal to build President Trump's border wall
Hereford, Ariz. --- Could a virtual wall be more effective than a physical border wall? A Southern Arizona group seems to think so. -- American Border Patrol created technology called SEIDARM- Seismic Detection and Ranging Mechanism. -- Glenn Spencer, ABP's President, says this technology detects seismic waves from movement within 500 feet and communicates with a drone to direct it to the location of the movement. -- Spencer explained the solar powered technology can determine whether the type of movement detected is a human or vehicle. -- He says his technology would cost a fraction of the money the government plans to spend to build a physical wall and the organization will be submitting a proposal to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
