Operational Control - Of the Immigration Issue
McCaul's Attack on Trump is Revealing
Breitbart -- August 24, 2015
McCaul: Trump Border Wall Rhetoric 'Simplistic,' 'Knee-Jerk'
Monday on MSNBC's “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) said Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's plan of building a border wall funded by Mexico to help stop illegal immigration is a “kind of a simplistic” and “kind of knee-jerk response.”
McCaul said, “Well, we talk a lot about operational control, and that's having a better understanding of who's coming in and who's leaving, what the threat really is. We're never really going to get that.

McCaul, McSally and the Washington Cartel
Chairman McCaul said that operational control is “having a better understanding of who's coming and who's leaving..” This is absolute nonsense. Operational control of the border is defined in Secure Fence Act of 2006: In this section, the term `operational control' means the prevention of all unlawful entries into the United States.
For years lefties and the Chamber of Commerce have refused to accept the legal definition of operational control because they do not want to prevent “good people” from crossing the border illegally - just “bad” ones.
I have long suspected McCaul's true feelings about border enforcement. In 2013, I criticized his Secure Border Results Act for allowing DHS to define border security when it had refused to do so for three years.
With this attack on Trump, I am now totally convinced that Chairman McCaul, and Rep. McSally, his committee member for the Arizona border, are pawns for open borders lobbyists and will fight to stop Donald Trump because he is serious about getting the job done.
McCaul and McSally are clearly card-carrying members of the Washington Cartel at which Ted Cruz is taking aim.
