Fox News Under the Spotlight
Really Conservative, or faking it?

Breitbart -- August 7, 2015
Lindsey Graham Blasts Fox for Its Treatment of Trump

Although be believes Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton would beat Donald Trump “like a drum,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) blasted Fox News for its queries of Trump during Thursday's GOP presidential debate.
Interviewed on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Graham snapped, “This was more of an inquisition than it was a debate. It was a missed opportunity to talk about things that really mattered.” He lambasted debate moderators Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly, and Chris Wallace for their treatment of Trump, saying, “At the end of the day, ask the man a question that explains his position and his solutions rather than a ten-minute question that describes him as the biggest bastard on the planet.”
Graham bemoaned the lack of discussion of substantive issues, asserting, “Do you really understand our position on immigration after this debate?”
Graham did not uniformly support Trump, indirectly criticizing him for his position on illegal immigration. He stated, “Mexico is not making these people come here. They're coming here because they want to. They live in hellholes and they want a better life.” He added, “The whole construct that they are sending their worst I reject,” in reference to Trump's remarks claiming many illegal immigrants are criminals whose native countries impel them to leave.

Glenn Spencer -- American Border Patrol
Fox, as I see them -- or, rather, don't

American Border Patrol has working on the border for thirteen years. For the past six years at least Fox News has elected not to report on our work. That includes Flags Along the Border, Operation B.E.E.F. and our border technology work, including demonstrations of the SEIDARM border security system.
Hundreds of people have visited us and seen these things, and almost everyone asks: "Has Fox News reported on this?” This is a sensible question since Fox News presents itself as a conservative outlet and border security is a favorite subject of conservatives. My answer has always been “No.”
Donald Trump has just run headlong into the real Fox News, and he was shocked. I wasn't. Fox News is not what you think it is.
