Jeb Bush Sees Big Border Problem
Will he take the time to look at a solution?

Glenn Spencer -- American Border Patrol -- August 5, 2015
Hidden in Plain Sight?
Jeb Bush says detecting border crossers is a big problem. He's right. We have cameras but they are no good unless they are pointing where the people are crossing - and that rarely happens. Drones fly along the border, but scanning the ground from 20,000 feet is like looking at the earth through a straw.
Boeing tried to use ground radar in its failed virtual fence but that didn't work --- radar can't see through hills and trees.
The US Border Patrol has thousands of ground sensors that pick up people walking, but they are wrong about 90% of the time.
A couple of years ago Homelands Security had plans to replace these sensors, but technical problems stopped them.
Mike King is a techno-nerd. He has been working on the problem of border security for thirteen years. For the past five years he has been working on technology that will detect anyone who tries to cross the border. It works.
On August 15 Mike will show exactly how his technology works. Jeb Bush and other presidential candidates and elected officials have been invited to see it in action. Will Jeb and the others come to the border to see Mike's invention --- or will it continue to be hidden in plain sight?
