Importing Poverty is Good?
Washington Post Nails Hillary

Washington Post gives Hillary its Four Pinocchios
award for lying about taxes paid by illegal aliens.
Washington Post -- May 11, 2015
Clinton's claim that illegal immigrants pay more in taxes than some corporations
"In New York, which I know a little bit about because I represented it for eight years and I live there now, our undocumented workers in New York pay more in taxes than some of the biggest corporations in New York." ---Hillary Clinton, roundtable in North Las Vegas, May 5, 2015
Several readers contacted The Fact Checker asking about this assertion by the former secretary of state, made as she discussed her policy goals for tackling illegal immigration. They wanted to know how this statement was possible.
A New Level of Insanity
Glenn Spencer -- American Patrol Report
After reading a federal report on the cost of illegal immigration to Los Angeles County, my September, 1992 newsletter carried the headline: “L.A.'s Number One Import: Poverty”. As this link shows, I followed the theme of importing poverty for nine years --- and dropped it because it was no longer news.
Today there are almost 5 million people living in poverty in California, and 56% are of Hispanic origin.
We have millions living in poverty in California because our government did not secure our borders.
The idea that we can allow millions of poor people to flood into our welfare state without the nation going broke is insane. Hillary Clinton's call for amnesty and open borders raises immigration insanity to a new level.
